WHAT IS IT?

Trigger point therapy is a great tool for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain. There are many small muscles that affect your daily life. What's unique about trigger point therapy, is that you can apply it for pain that you've had for years.

The presence of trigger points can even mimic symptoms of serious health conditions. It is a wonderful tool for symptoms like: muscle & joint pain (most common areas are neck, shoulders, upper & lower back, hips, wrists, knees, and ankles), soreness, jaw pain & stiffness, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, headaches & migraines, tired eyes & blurry vision, stuffy nose & allergies, sciatic pain, tendinitis, frozen shoulder, disc pain (bulge/rupture/herniation), fibromyalgia, and much more...​​

ABOUT THE SESSION

This is a 60-minute live online class.

 

Focusing on myofascial release, we'll relax contracted muscles, improve blood, oxygen, and lymph circulation to the specific muscles and area. We'll also stimulate the stretch reflex in the muscles.

I'll explain the importance and benefits of trigger point therapy, how it works, and where your pain is actually coming from (in many cases the problem is not where the pain is, which is typical for trigger points).

Last but not least, you'll gain valuable knowledge that you'll be able to use and implement in your daily life to easily release muscle tension and pain at home!

Every session is personalized to individual or group needs. Rest assured that you will get your questions and concerns aswered.

EQUIPMENT

To fully participate in our session, please have these items ready:

  • lacrosse ball - preferably different sizes (alternatives: tennis ball, baseball & softball)

  • foam roller (if we're working on lower body trigger points)

  • yoga mat

  • a long sock (optional)

  • water
